Prices

All prices are in Euro.

Minimum order

€ 50 for all countries of the European Union
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

€ 75 for all other European countries
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland, Ukraine

Flat Rate Charges

These flat rate charges are not effective if ordering very large heavy plants of pot-size 20 cm container (20C) or 25 cm bole (25S) or larger so that the postage for your order will exceed the amount which is covered by our flat rates: In such a case you will also be charged for the balance between the flat rate and the true postage.

Charges for all countries of the European Union
For postage and packing we will charge you
• 25% of value of goods if the order is € 50 – 149
• 20% of value of goods if the order is € 150 – 249
• 15% of value of goods if the order is € 250 or higher

No additional charges for CITES or Phytosanitary Certificate.

Charges for all other European countries
For postage and packing we will charge you
• 25% of value of goods if the order is € 75 – 149
• 20% of value of goods if the order is € 150 – 249
• 15% of value of goods if the order is € 250 or higher

Additional charges for CITES and Phytosanitary Certificate are € 15.

Special Country Regulations
(only for all other European countries)

CITES 1:
No export of CITES I plants
Russia and Ukraine:
No handling of orders without import permit.
Customers will need an import permit of their country to import our plants. So please make sure that you have a valid import permit before ordering.

Ordering

Please send us the following details:
• your name and postal address
• the names and prices of the plants
Otherwise we will not be able to handle your order.

All orders will be handled according to their date of receipt.

Payment in advance

Orders will only be sent after payment has been effected.

Paying in our greenhouse
• Cash
• Credit card: VISA or Master (+ 3% fee)
• EC-Card (only with PIN)
• Attention: no cheques accepted!

Paying your online-order or fax-order
• Credit card: VISA or Master (+ 3% fee)
PayPal payment (+ 3% fee) must be effected to info@specks-exotica.com

Important:
If you pay by credit-card or PayPal then we can handle your order directly.

If you like to pay by International Postal Money Order, Western Union or money transfer to our bank account you will have to wait first until we contact you again. We will send you an invoice after your plants are picked and reserved for you. The invoice amount should be paid within 2 weeks. As soon as payment is effected we will post your order.

Delivery

All plants are sent by post without pots and soil on account and risk of consignee.
All parcels are sent with priority mail (air mail) by DHL or TNT Post.
We do not send any orders as registered mail.
We do not sent any orders with courier or express parcel services like EMS or UPS. These companies do not allow the sending of living material like animals or plants.

Time of Delivery

After the publishing of our large spring update (end of March) and fall update (beginning of August) the delivery of your order may take 15 to 30 days. The normal time of delivery is approx. 5 to 10 days.

Mailing Season

Due to cold weather conditions in Germany from November to March we will send plants only from the 15th of April until the end of October.

Complaints

Within 14 days after receiving the plants.

Liability

Plants will only be sent on risk of consignee. Our liability ends with the handing over of your consignment to the post. We will not take responsibility for any problems which may occur after we have sent your consignment.

a) Replacement of dead or damaged plants
Of course we take responsibility for any dead or damaged plants provided the damage is not caused by any delays in transport or any obvious damage of the packing material. In this case we will replace the damaged plants or refund the money.

b) Damage due to delays in transport
We will not be responsible for any damage of the plants due to delays of the delivery of consignments which may be caused
• by the post company
• or by customs

If some plants are dead or damaged due to a delay in transport then the claim must be maid to one of the above mentioned companies or institutions. We will neither replace any dead or damaged plants nor refund any money for dead or damaged plants if the damage is caused by a delay in transport.

c) Damage of the packing material
If some plants are dead or damaged due to an obvious damage of the packing material (like a crushed box) then the claim must be maid to the post immediately on receipt of the consignment. So please first check the boxes carefully before accepting their receipt. We will neither replace any dead or damaged plants nor refund any money for dead or damaged plants if the damage is caused by an obvious damage of the packing material.

d) Lost consignments
In case that a consignment or parts of a consignment gets lost in transport then claims must be maid to the post. In this case we will make the claim for you and it will be a pleasure to help you.
